Kirsch Réserve 45°

...

It is made of black cherries with large pits grown in Alsace. Harvested then hulled, the fruits are placed in wood barrels and daily tumbled for 4 to 5 weeks. It takes 18 kg of cherries to make one litre of fruit brandy. Kirsch is characterised by its mellowness and by its wide range of possible uses: it can be served pure, in cocktails, as a digestif or added as an ingredient in sorbets, pastries and fruit salads.
