Tasting of Pinot Blanc
Eye: The dress is a pale yellow color with some green highlights. The wine is clear and shiny.
Nose: The nose is fresh, discreetly fruity, with hints of peach, apple and floral tips. Without being exuly, it expresses perfectly the primary aromas.
Mouth: Pinot Blanc is a wine that opens quickly. Pleasant, tender with an average acidity, it represents a fair middle in the range of Alsace wines.
Wine pairings with Pinot Blanc
The Pinot Blanc is an entrance wine but also a main course. It agrees with all simple preparations, fish, white meats, poultry, egg-based dishes (casserole eggs, omelets, quiches). It is also welcome with sweet cheeses (cream of Gruyère, fresh square…).
