A passion for
Alsace's terroirs

In the heart of the magnificent village of Ammerschwihr, on the famous Alsace Wine Route, lies Domaine Pierre Adam. This is where our winegrowing history began to take shape, just after the end of the Second World War. Driven by a passion for the exceptional terroirs of this region, our domaine was born.

We’re proud to invite you to join us in this adventure, to be seduced by the palette of unique flavors we’ve created with passion and dedication.

Harvesting at Grand Cru Kaefferkopf

For 3 generations

As an independent winegrower, we grow, vinify, bottle and market our own wines. While our desire to help as many people as possible discover the wines of Alsace has remained intact, we have developed the family business by adding a wine tourism aspect to it, welcoming visitors from all over the world every day to discover our estate and offer them products of unrivalled quality, as well as sharing our love for this region with an ever-growing public.

Domaine Pierre Adam is much more than just a vineyard. It’s a place where tradition and modernity meet, where a passion for wine is passed down from generation to generation. We invite you to join us for this unique experience, to taste our wines and immerse yourself in the very essence of our Alsatian terroir, where every sip tells a story that crosses time and borders.

Heritage & History

From the 19th century
The beginnings

Domaine Pierre Adam started out as a family vineyard, with parcels of vines destined for the sale of wine grapes. Although they didn’t yet produce wine, Pierre Adam’s ancestors were well-informed winemakers, with a precise knowledge of their terroirs.

First bottles

A love of the diversity of Alsace wines and a passion for wine led the Adam family to develop their own estate, marking the beginning of an exceptional winemaking history. After the war, the first winery was created, and a limited range of wines was bottled and sold.

A breath of fresh air

The family business was gradually taken over by Nathalie and Rémy Adam, son of Simone and Pierre Adam. Vineyard acreage increased and the range of wines expanded. Viticultural and winemaking techniques became more precise, and the emphasis was soon placed on wine tourism and welcoming visitors to the estate.

New space

A new tasting room has been created, a harmonious testimony to our winegrowing heritage. This new cellar is the ideal setting for visitors and groups to enjoy a successful tasting.

The winery has also been refurbished and enlarged to improve the ageing of our plot-based cuvées.

A new generation

Théo Adam, son of Nathalie and Rémy, joined the domaine gradually after completing his studies in oenology. Passionate and determined, Théo applies his knowledge to breathe new life into the family estate, captivating a new generation of wine lovers.
