Aromas

It develops aromas of exotic fruits such as mango and pineapple, as well as honey and spices. Subtle floral notes such as acacia blossom can also be detected.

Palais

On the palate, its rich, full-bodied texture is counterbalanced by its roundness and slightly tart acidity on the finish, characteristic of Hengst Grands Crus. Spicy and dried fruit aromas are clearly confirmed.

Food & wine

Pinot Gris Grand Cru Hengst goes well with a wide variety of dishes. It can be served with white meats such as chicken or turkey, light red meats such as veal or pork, seafood such as oysters and shellfish, spicy Asian dishes, mushroom-based dishes and richly flavored cheeses.
