Aromas

The aromas are complex and intense. Citrus notes such as grapefruit blend with nuances of white fruits such as pear and apple. Mineral petrol aromas make this wine even more powerful.

Palais

Riesling Grand Cru Hengst strikes a perfect balance between roundness and acidity. The minerality is confirmed with notes of gunflint and chalk. The citrus flavors give it a lively acidity that is very pleasant on the palate, with long-lasting aromas.

Food & wine

Its lively acidity and mineral complexity make it a perfect match for rich, flavorful dishes, as well as more delicate ones. It goes particularly well with seafood, grilled fish or fish in sauce, white meats, poultry, vegetable dishes and goat’s cheese. It can also be served as an aperitif.
